School Bus Driver

OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting students to their destinations, following a set schedule, and ensuring a comfortable and secure journey. Duties- Safely operate a bus following a designated route and schedule- Provide excellent customer service to students- Maintain a clean and organized bus interior- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations at all times- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus- Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus in a safe manner Skills- Excellent communication skills- Proficient driving skills with a valid driver's license- Prior experience in customer service is preferred- Experience working with children is beneficial- Familiarity with school bus driving regulations is a bonus- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting- Previous experience as a van driver would be advantageousJob Type: Part-timePay: From $19.16 per hourExpected hours: 20 per weekBenefits: Dental insurance Employee assistance program Flexible spending account Health insurance Paid time off Paid training Retirement plan Vision insuranceSchedule: Afternoon shift Morning shiftExperience: School bus driving: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) CDL (Required)Ability to Commute: Beulah, ND 58523 (Required)Work Location: In person
