Overview

Compensation: $60,000-80,000 base plus uncapped commission

In this role, you will play a critical role for the company and will work alongside other professionals within the team and other departments.
You will be responsible for serving customers by selling products and meeting customer needs.
Achieves maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company's products and/or related services.
Personally contacts and secures new business accounts/customers.

Responsibilities

Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role:

Establishes and cultivates robust relationships with current and prospective clients in the assigned area to boost sales for the company's offerings.
Engages in proactive outreach through phone calls, face-to-face meetings, and compelling presentations to both current and potential clients.
Researches sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
Crafts concise and impactful written proposals and quotations tailored to the needs of existing and potential clients.
Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service groups.
Analyzes the territory/market's potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers value to the organization.
Creates and manages a customer value plan for existing customers highlighting profile, share and value opportunities.
Identifies advantages and compares organization's products/services.
Develops and implements a targeted sales strategy to optimize time investment and maximize results in the assigned territory/segment.
Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.
Engages actively in trade shows and conventions to showcase our products and services and network with potential clients.


Qualifications

Minimum Job Requirements:

Seeking candidates with a minimum of 5 years of sales experience, ideally with industry-specific expertise.
Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers.
Driven by results and adept at working autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
Demonstrates exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients and team members Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word and Excel and contact management software.
Valid driver's license.

Pay Range

$60,000 to $85,000 plus commission
