Job Description: We are seeking 2 passionate, client-centered School Counselors to provide mental health services to children and adolescents in Baltimore County Public Schools. In this role, you will develop treatment plans, provide counseling utilizing evidence-based practices, collaborate with school staff and treatment teams, maintain clinical documentation, and administer assessments.
Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Provide trauma-informed counseling services to students Assess treatment progress and adapt interventions as needed Coordinate care with school staff, families, and treatment teams Maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation Administer assessments and measure treatment outcomes Crisis intervention and management of high-risk clients Comply with regulations, ethical codes, and confidentiality standards Qualifications: Graduate degree in counseling or social work (LGPC or LMSW) Passion for working with children/adolescents and their families Knowledge of developmental needs, trauma concepts, evidence-based practices Strong clinical skills - CBT, MI, solutions-focused, supportive therapy etc. Crisis management and suicide prevention skills Excellent documentation and communication abilities Openness to clinical training, supervision, and continuing education Benefits: $500 bonus on anniversary (1 time bonus) Weekly supervision if not licensed Competitive salary Medical, Dental, Vision and various supplemental insurance available Paid vacation, sick, holidays Paid days to attend outside trainings for CEU's 401K with matching after one year 3% AT 100% 4 & 5 For immediate consideration for this role please contact Cynthia Dominguez by sending your confidential resume to
