This role involves assessing and addressing students' physical needs to enhance their educational participation and overall well-being. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to implement individualized therapy plans. Key Responsibilities: Conduct evaluations of students physical needs and develop tailored therapy plans. Design and implement interventions and exercises, adjusting as necessary based on student progress. Work with teachers and school staff to integrate therapy goals into the educational environment. Advise on classroom adaptations. Update parents on their childs progress and provide strategies for supporting development at home. Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and progress reports. Comply with school and state regulations. Requirements: Masters degree in Occupational Therapy. Illinois state licensure Experience with children or in a school setting is a plus.
