A full-time, multi academic yeartemporary faculty, lecturer positionis available to beginFall 2025in a CCNE accredited School of Nursing (SON). This position is temporary and subject to terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the California State University system and the California Faculty Association. We are currently seeking applicants with academic and practice expertise for our DNP level Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program. This position reports to the Director of the School of Nursing.
Qualified applicants must hold an earned doctorate [PhD or DNP] in nursing with a master's degree in nursing, and be eligible for or currently licensed to practice nursing in California with an unencumbered nursing license. This position will require 15 units of teaching workload at the undergraduate or graduate level.
Applicants are required to have:
5 years of clinical practice experience as a PMHNP
National board certification
Applicants must have current clinical expertise and experience as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Preferred qualifications include:
Dual preparation as an FNP
One year of teaching experience at the graduate level
