School Office Manager/Receptionist

Job Description As an Office Manager/Receptionist with The Menta Group, you will handle all incoming communications and visitors to the school as well as maintain current and accurate records.
\n ResponsibilitiesAnswer, screen and direct all incoming telephone callsFax documents, make copies, and sort and deliver mailHandle incoming and outgoing package shipmentsGreet and direct visitorsMaintain office suppliesMaintain up-to-date student recordsContact parents and inform school districts when student is absentMaintain staff daily time recordsPerform accounts receivable function for schoolPrepare payroll information for school staffPrepare Workers' Compensation reports as requiredAssist corporate staff with additional duties as needed QualificationsMust be comfortable working in a busy fast-paced school environmentMust be comfortable around students with behavioral and social-emotional needsBilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred, but not requiredKnowledge of modern office procedures and methods including telephone communications, office systems, and record-keepingKnowledge of modern business communications and grammar, including style and format of letters and memorandumDemonstrated experience with Paylocity or similar software preferredAbility to establish priorities, work independently and accomplish objectives with minimal supervisionProficient in Microsoft OfficeProficient in use of Google Docs BenefitsBenefit options include: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Supplemental Insurance ProgramsMedical Insurance enrollment is available to full time employees on their date of hire. No waiting period.12 Month PositionGenerous Paid Time Off Benefits 403(b) Investment OptionsDirect Employer HireNegotiable Sign-On Bonus for Certified Special Education Teachers
