Responsibilities:  Conduct thorough psychological assessments to diagnose learning disabilities and emotional disorders in students. Create and implement personalized plans for academic and socio-emotional growth, including counseling when necessary. Partner with educators, parents, and administrators to devise strategies for students with special needs. Aid in creating and adjusting behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students with challenging behaviors. Develop preventive programs addressing issues like bullying, substance abuse, and mental health awareness. Offer training to parents and educators on child development, behavior management, and effective learning strategies. Analyze student performance and behavior data to guide interventions. Maintain precise, confidential records of assessments, interventions, and progress. Collaborate with school professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to student support.
