We're looking for a compassionate and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team remotely. In this role, you'll leverage teletherapy technology to provide a wide range of psychological services aimed at fostering the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral well-being of students.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough psychoeducational assessments using teletherapy platforms, covering intellectual, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral domains.
Collaborate with educators, administrators, parents, and other stakeholders to gather information and develop tailored intervention plans.
Deliver individual and group counseling sessions to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
Assist in developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and Individualized Education Plans in coordination with the IEP team.
Support the implementation of positive behavior support systems and strategies within school settings.
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and contribute to the development of Behavior Intervention Plans for students with challenging behaviors.
Provide consultation to teachers and school staff regarding students' needs and recommend appropriate interventions and accommodations.
Participate actively in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and collaborative sessions with school staff and parents.
Stay updated on current research, best practices, and advancements in the field of school psychology.
Adhere strictly to ethical guidelines and professional standards established by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) and relevant state regulations.
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
Valid Tennessee state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Tennessee.
Preferred certification as a School Psychologist by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP).
Experience with teletherapy platforms and technology is preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on effective collaboration with students, parents, educators, and stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
Reliable internet connection and suitable workspace for teletherapy sessions.
