This role will support a K-12 caseload , providing comprehensive psychological services to students across all grade levels. As a School Psychologist, you will play a key role in assessing, counseling, and guiding students to help them overcome emotional, social, and academic challenges. Key Responsibilities : Conduct psychological assessments for K-12 students, evaluating cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs. Prepare detailed reports based on assessments and provide recommendations for educational and behavioral interventions. Provide individual and group counseling to students struggling with emotional, social, or behavioral issues. Attend IEP/ARD meetings, offering insights and recommendations to develop effective student support plans. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school staff to create and implement strategies that support student success. Assist in the development of 504 plans, behavior intervention plans (BIPs), and other student support services. Maintain confidentiality of student information and comply with district policies and legal requirements. Requirements : Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology. Valid Tennessee School Psychologist certification (or ability to obtain certification prior to starting). Experience working with K-12 caseloads preferred but not required. In-depth knowledge of psychological assessments, interventions, and school-based counseling. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and school staff. Ability to work independently while managing a caseload across multiple grade levels.
