Job Description
Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and support a school district in Illinois.
As a school-based SLP, you will be crucial in evaluating and treating students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
You will provide effective and individualized therapy to help students achieve their communication goals and succeed academically and socially.
Job Snapshot:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students, utilizing evidence-based practices.
Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including IEP meetings, to develop and review Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed, maintaining accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and in collaboration with the student's educational team and family.
Educate and support students, families, and school staff regarding strategies for improving communication skills and promoting academic success.
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other related service providers to integrate therapy goals into students' educational programs and classroom activities.
Requirements Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting is preferred.
Strong knowledge of speech and language assessment tools and intervention strategies.
Valid Illinois state SLP license or eligibility for licensures as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
A certificate of clinical competence in speech-language pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
