Job Posting: School Science Teacher Location: Aston, Pennsylvania Position Type: Full-Time, School Year Overview: Soliant is seeking a passionate and dedicated School Science Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will inspire students to explore the wonders of science and foster a love for learning through engaging and innovative instruction. This role involves teaching science across various grade levels, developing curriculum, and creating a supportive and stimulating classroom environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive science curriculum that aligns with state and district standards. Teach science subjects (e.g., biology, chemistry, physics, earth sciences) to students at assigned grade levels. Design and deliver engaging lessons, incorporating hands-on experiments, interactive activities, and multimedia resources. Assess and evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, and projects, providing timely feedback to students and parents. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning and development. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional practices and contribute to school-wide initiatives. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and advancements in science. Engage with students, parents, and the community to support student learning and address any concerns or needs. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Science Education, Secondary Education, or a related field; Masters degree preferred. Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification for science (e.g., Secondary Science, Biology, Chemistry). Proven experience teaching science at the middle or high school level is preferred. Strong knowledge of science concepts and instructional strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and engage students. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students. Commitment to creating a supportive and dynamic learning environment.
