Scientist Iv

JOB PURPOSE JVM is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scientist IV to join our team and perform a full range of scientific services with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 6 (South Central) serving Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in serving as a scientific or technical resource.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Serve as a senior scientific or technical resource on a task. Provide analysis, guidance, and insight into the environmental, scientific, or technical discipline under evaluation. Plan, conduct, and supervise multiple projects. Estimate and schedule work to meet completion dates. Direct project staff, review progress, and evaluate results, and make changes in methods, design, or equipment where necessary. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in a science 10 years of experience. Ability to operate with some latitude for unreviewed action or decisions. Must be able to pass a background check.
