We are seeking a full-time Scribe to join our Dermatology clinic in NW Portland and towork one-on-one with multiple providers to document medical records for patient office visits. You will work with exceptional physicians who value their team and working together to help our patients get the best possible care.
Our busy practice receives a high volume of patient appointments and calls, and we are searching for a highly motivated, personable and organized candidate with a passion for quality patient care and detail-oriented work ethic. Applicants must be flexible with availability and previous scribing, or Dermatology experience is highly preferred. Ability to commit one year is preferred.
Primary duties include a ccurately and thoroughly documenting medical visits and procedures as they are being performed by the physician while maintaining excellent spelling, grammar and language skills, including knowledge of specific shorthand and acronyms relating to the specialty. reviewing patient history and notes prior to patient's visit and completing all notes at conclusion of patient appointment to ensure medical record is complete and accurate; making necessary changes to patient history and medical records under the direction of the Physician.
Workdays will be Monday-Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm (32-40 hours per week). Starting pay range, based on experience: $18.65 - $25.23 per hour. Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees.
