Position Overview: As a Scrum Master with AWS, ETL, and Snowflake expertise, you will be responsible for facilitating the agile development process, ensuring the team follows agile practices, and managing the day-to-day operations of data projects. Your role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of data solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo, and retrospective meetings. Coach the development team in self-organization and cross-functionality. Remove impediments to the development team's progress. Collaborate with product owners to manage backlogs and new requests. Ensure the team adheres to Scrum principles and practices. Coordinate with other Scrum Masters and teams to ensure alignment and dependencies are managed. Monitor and report on the progress of the team's work. Manage and optimize the flow of work through the agile framework. Utilize AWS services to support data processing and storage needs. Oversee the development and maintenance of ETL processes to ensure data is accurately and efficiently moved between systems. Ensure effective use of Snowflake for data warehousing needs, optimizing performance and cost. Provide expertise and guidance on best practices for AWS, ETL, and Snowflake. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification. Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a technical environment. Strong understanding and practical experience with AWS services (e.g., S3, EC2, RDS, Lambda). Hands-on experience with ETL tools and processes. Expertise in Snowflake, including data modeling, performance tuning, and security. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree in a related field. Additional certifications in AWS or Snowflake.
