The SDLC Development, Process and Compliance Manager is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within their assigned responsibilities and contributes to directional strategy of Citi's SDLC Management to drive optimal outcomes for the firm and the firm's practitioners. As such, the role will require
strong communication, relationship building and diplomacy skills in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues and senior leaders in other areas.
This role has a unique ability to significantly impact business outcomes through the management of complex deliverables.
These efforts will require the ability to provide advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of assigned work responsibilities.
Work performed will impact an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the firm.
Responsibilities:
Provide expertise in area and an advanced level of understanding of the principles of SDLC and IT project leadership.
Ability to leverage business and technology expertise to guide and support firm-wide SDLC initiatives
Engage with Technology Tools, Development and Test teams to design streamlined and automated experiences that enhance practitioner productivity.
Support Regulatory programs and projects such as Data Governance, Compliance Management and Change Management integration points within SDLC process and tools.
Contribute to emerging technology efforts and the controlled design of solutions that seamlessly integrate enhancements into practitioner experiences.
Develop and contribute to action plans, status reports and team backlog grooming.
Interface with senior project staff and client senior management teams regarding SDLC framework.
Recommend and oversee SDLC process improvements.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
6-10 years experience in a related technology role and subject matter expert in an overall field
Foundational understanding of Technology Engineering requirements and Development focused SDLC frameworks and best practices
Current experience with Engineering tool integration and automation
Proven engagement with Consent Order, regulatory and risk related deliverables, including RBC Milestones
Tools expertise that includes PTS - Project Tracking System , Jira, Confluence and pipeline delivery
Education:
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
