SE Subject Matter Expert Springfield, VA The Customer Technical Executive (TX) requires the services of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to serve as a core member of the Technical Executive organization. SMEs will support leadership by providing the right information at the right time for critical decision-making related to the agencies lifecycle of enterprise IT systems and services. The SME support activities will include planning, execution, advisory, and expertise services. The selected individual must have the following:The depth of knowledge and breadth of experience with customer missionExpertise to provide technical guidance to the TX for decision making, customer leadership briefings, meeting preparation, future planning and roadmap developmentKnowledge of customer IT systems, infrastructure, high availability applications, and their interdependenciesDemonstrated experience with one or more of customers development lifecycle models including Waterfall, Agile Safe and DevSecOpAbility to assess strategic plans, programs, and architecturesAbility to facilitate community services adoption and consultation across the IC/DoD and partners in cross functional forumsExpertise to engage in a small team environment, daily, to work off a listing of prioritized tasks to achieve CIO leadership intended outcomesThe selected individual should have the following:Program management experience and the ability to provide expert level schedule and technical analyses and recommendationsKnowledge to engage with the CIO TX community to ensure policy, guidance, changes and issues are captured and communicated across officesAbility to provide support to corrective, adaptive, and perfective maintenance activities to ensure the consistency of user mission processes and user interfaces across capabilitiesProven Technical LeadershipSupport will include: Activities related to operations of customer applications and infrastructure, cyber security, cloud migration, new technology integration, outage management, data correction, review boards, and mission partner activitiesCustomer cyber security compliance initiatives. As part of the effort, the SME will provide support between the Application Service Provider (ASP), Infrastructure Service Provider (ISP) and security offices to ensure system compliance for all domains and ensure a repeatable enterprise security compliance process is established and adhered toBASIC QUALIFICATIONSSystem Engineering experience in the Intelligence Community (IC) as it relates to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency's (NGA) missionAbility to operate in a fast-paced environment, make effective and timely decisions, solve problems, and facilitate organizational and procedural changes Strong organizational, leadership, communications and presentation skillsExperience interfacing with customer and contractor leadershipActive Top Secret / SCI ClearanceDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Experience in Datacenter and cloud technologiesITIL foundationsExperience with support to GOTS and COTS integrationExperience with customer tools, services and capabilities
