Description

The Order Assembly Associate works in a temperature-controlled, fast-paced environment.
The associate in this position assembles clamshells into kits, according to customer orders.
This teammate moves quickly from work station to other areas while the lines continue to operate.
The teammate in this position must have strong initiative, organization skills, and communication skills.
This position reports to the Packaging Supervisor.
The teammate in this position must follow and understand Food Safety Compliance.
Additionally, the teammate must follow directions from management as needed to meet departmental goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Packages customer orders into boxes with no errors and ensures that the information on the box is marked correctlyChecks customer purchase orders to ensure quantities are correctInserts herb-packed clamshells into sleeves, wrap these sleeves with rubber bands, and then bags clamshells according to the customer's ordersInspects the quality of the product prior to assemblingCommunicates with Line Coordinators to keep teammates informed of product needs or changes that affect the teamConfirm all orders for accuracy prior to initialing them as completeConfirms all information on Company's packages such as; packaging date, labels on tubs, packed herbsMaintains effective communication with all Line CoordinatorsAssists Order Assembly with troubleshooting the labeling machinesComplies with all Food Safety and Safety requirementsUses personal protective equipment as neededReports all observed safety hazards to the Production SupervisorAttends all company training as neededPerforms other duties as assigned by SupervisorsAdheres to all company procedures and policiesEmbraces diversity and a team environmentCommunicates well with all personnel to effectively and efficiently fulfill customer needs
Requirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Production or manufacturing setting experience 2+ Years of production or manufacturing setting experienceBilingual, English & SpanishExperience with Food Safety programsKnowledge and understanding of GMPs, HACCP & Quality/Hold proceduresKnowledge and understanding of the Food Safety Policy Statement
