Job Overview
The SEC Reporting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and filing of all SEC reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP, SEC regulations, and other relevant financial reporting requirements.
This role will work closely with senior management, auditors, and cross-functional teams to provide accurate and timely financial information to stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills, a thorough understanding of financial reporting, and experience in managing the SEC reporting process in a public company setting.

Key Responsibilities SEC Filings : Prepare and review quarterly (10-Q) and annual (10-K) SEC filings, including drafting financial statements, footnotes, MD&A, and related disclosures.
Financial Reporting : Ensure accurate, compliant, and timely financial statements, working with internal and external auditors as needed.
Compliance & Research : Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SEC regulations and GAAP.
Research new accounting pronouncements and ensure their proper application in financial reporting.
Internal Controls : Support internal control processes related to financial reporting, ensuring SOX compliance and liaising with auditors on control-related matters.
Process Improvement : Lead initiatives to improve financial reporting processes, enhance accuracy, and optimize reporting timelines.
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with teams across the organization, including accounting, legal, investor relations, and external auditors, to ensure comprehensive and compliant reporting.
Management : Supervise and mentor junior reporting staff, providing guidance on technical accounting and SEC reporting.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA or equivalent designation preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in SEC reporting, public accounting, or financial reporting within a public company.
Big 4 experience is a plus.
Proficiency in U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and financial reporting software (e.g., Workiva, Hyperion).
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively.
Proven ability to manage, develop, and motivate a team of professionals.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
