Job Opportunity: SEC Reporting & Technical DirectorOur esteemed client, a well-renowned leader in the insurance industry, is seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to join their finance team as the SEC Reporting Director. This is a permanent position based in the heart of the financial district.
Role and Responsibilities:Lead the preparation and filing of all external financial reporting, including SEC filings.Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) across all reporting.Assist investor relations department prepare quarterly earnings releases.Collaborate with internal departments to gather, analyze, and prepare financial information.Implement and maintain reporting procedures to comply with internal control requirements.Stay updated with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regulations and ensure all reporting is aligned with current laws and standards.Handle the documentation and reporting of financial performance for external stakeholders.Manage a team of financial professionals, guiding them in their professional development and career growth.Key Skills:In-depth knowledge of Statutory Reporting and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Solid experience in Regulatory Reporting and maintaining compliance with SEC guidelines.Demonstrated leadership abilities with strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to manage deadlines and respond to changing business needs and regulatory environments.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.Experience in the insurance industry is highly preferred.
