IntelyCare's Security Architect is accountable to design, implement, and manage the company's security architecture and they will possess a deep understanding of security principles, architecture, and technologies. This role will successfully partner cross-functionally with key stakeholders to develop and implement the right-sized, secure solutions to seamlessly solve business problems and proactively mitigate any risk. Specifically, the Security Architect will develop a comprehensive approach to include automated routine security functions from security test to orchestration of third-party tools. They will be primary contact and/or point of escalation for external vendors, partners and internal functions and will participate in the mentoring and development of Information Security team members.
\n Essential Duties & Responsibilities: In partnership with the InfoSec team, identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements. Implement appropriate comprehensive security solutions for various IT projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. Develop, review, and enhance security policies, standards, and guidelines. Participate in security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with internal and external standards. Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Evaluate emerging security technologies and solutions to protect the organization from cyber threats. Establish and maintain security architecture documentation, including security requirements and diagrams. Provide expert guidance and leadership to security-related projects, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards. Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies. Work with stakeholders to define and prioritize security requirements. Participate in incident response and management to handle security incidents. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field. 5+ years of experience designing and/or building public cloud systems using a microservice architecture 2+ years of experience with infrastructure-as-code 2+ years of experience with CI/CD management Proven track record of designing robust security systems to protect organizational data, systems, and networks. Exceptional communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills Ability to self-direct and deliver results in a outcomes-oriented environment Hands on experience with security technologies such as CSPM, SAST, ZTNA, WAF, DLP, and API security. Experience in cloud security architecture Security- and quality-oriented approach to problem solving with an eye towards proactive risk management and simplified ease of solutions Relevant certifications desirable Preferred Knowledge & Technologies:Ansible AWS Containerized workloads Git Linux Networking OWASP Python – writing capabilities Secure SDLC Terraform Familiarity with:BurpSuite HIPAA Java SIEM Physical Demands: While performing the duties the physical requirements are: constantly reach to use computers, monitors and other office equipment constantly need to view objects at close and distant ranges constantly communicate with others verbally and in writing frequently required to sit or stand This position functions in an office and technical environment and requires fine manipulation and simple grasping to utilize the computer and other standard office equipment Required occasional lifting and transporting of items weighing up to 25 lbs.
