We are looking for a SECURITY DISPATCH OFFICER in Mesa County who is looking for a FULL-TIME NIGHT-SHIFT position M-F. PAY INFORMATION $20.00 per hour. 40 Hours per week.
Non-exempt position (eligible for overtime when applicable under state law)
THE POSITION As a Security Dispatch Officer, you will handle critical communication by receiving and prioritizing service calls, dispatching officers, and documenting activities while primarily working in an office setting. There will be a lot of computer work, camera monitoring, and investigating. You must be self-motivated to work and be productive to at time work unsupervised. When needed, you will transition to on-site security duties, enforcing protocols, investigating incidents, and mitigating risks. This role requires adaptability, strong communication skills, and the ability to maintain professionalism in both dispatch and security operations.
\n Essential Job FunctionsReceive, evaluate, and prioritize service calls from staff and the public.Dispatch security officers and provide timely response updates.Document all activities, incidents, and shifts in detailed logs.Enforce security protocols and perform site patrols when acting as a Security Officer.Maintain professionalism, follow established policies, and report critical information to supervisors.Perform additional tasks, related duties, projects, and special assignments as assigned by the reporting manager or client. Qualification RequirementsComputer skills and camera monitoring.Self-motivated and responsible.Provide credible references and I-9 Employment Eligibility Documentation (legal eligibility to work in the U.S.).Previous security or law enforcement experience is required.Must have a high school diploma or GED. Ability to perform job tasks in an extremely professional manner in a customer service driven industry.Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.Ability to pass a background check and a drug test.Ability to stand and walk for several hours per shift.Reliable transportation and proximity to site(s).Exemplary customer service.Positive attitude.Punctuality, never late.Must own a smartphone for scheduling and clocking in / out.Overnights are required.Experience in CPR, first aid, firefighting and crowd control is preferred, but not required.
