Security Field Engineer (Access Control / Alarm Project Lead) – Livermore, CAWe are seeking an experienced Alarm/Access Control Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the industry and be able to run a deployment. Preferred that the candidate has expertise in Verkada and Avigilon ACM. Additional skills in alarm deployment and programming would be beneficial. At least 3 years of experience in access control installation, programming, migration, and maintenance is required. Travel to customer sites is required (we cover ALL travel expenses).
Key Responsibilities: Program and configure access control panels, and other system components.Program and configure alarm intrusion panels.Troubleshoot issues with existing systems and provide timely resolutions.Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and support.Work with other team members and independently to complete installation and service projects.Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each project.Follow company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.Keep up to date with industry advancements and technology to ensure the most efficient and effective installation and maintenance practices.Job requirementsRequirements:At least 3 years of experience in access control installation, programming, migration, and maintenance.Knowledge of cabling, termination on control panels, and programming.Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose issues quickly.Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate technical information to non-technical individuals.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good time management skills and ability to meet project deadlines.Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.Have passed or be able to pass the Alarm Agent test through the State of California.Job preferencesExperience in Verkada and Avigilon ACM is highly preferred.Additional skills in alarm deployment and programming would be beneficial.
