Leads functions of physical and personal security and safety measures of staff, and visitors. Protects staff and property from theft or damage, or persons from hazards or interference, including the potential for violence in the workplace. Primary functions include being a First Responder to emergency situations within the workplace. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities and to inspect security protection devices and fire control equipment. Preserves order and enforce regulations pertaining to personnel, visitors, and overall property.

Monitors the front gate to ensure all visitors are check-in properly Proper handling of routine and emergency incidents detrimental to the security and safety of the facility, visitors, and employees. Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, permitting entry as needed Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities, interviewing witnesses, obtaining signatures in compliance with company policies Ensure the security, safety and well-being of all personnel, visitors, and the premises Adhere to all company service and operating standards Remain in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations Respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees Protect the company's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues Follow procedures for various initiatives, including fire prevention, property patrol, traffic control and accident investigations
