Security Officer

Position Summary: Assists in establishing and maintaining a safe and secure environment for all employees, patients, and visitors and property of St. Mary's Health Care System.
A: Licensure/Certification/Registration: Must have a current State of Georgia driver's license with a good driving history. Must obtain certification in National Safety Council Defensive Driving, the American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support (CPR), International Association for Healthcare Safety and Security, Defensive Tactics, ASP Tactical Baton.
B. Education: A minimum of high school graduate or equivalent.
C: Experience: Should have a minimum of one year of security, police, or military experience. Healthcare Security is a plus.
