Responsibilities
• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered• Control access for patrons, visitors, or vendors• Conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment• Respond to incidents and record data on incidents• Other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Must be at least 21 years of age• High School diploma or GED• 1+ year experience as an unarmed security officer or in a customer service, retail, hotel, or residential position• Able to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC)• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job• Preferred: Bi-lingual• Preferred: Proficiency with Microsoft Office software• Preferred: Customer service experience and at least 1-2 years of security experience
