Job Summary:
The Security Operations Manager is at the forefront of business development and day-to-day operations. You will assist management in supporting the development, operations, and profitability of your assigned area through ensuring the best possible business performance, contract compliance and delivery. Employee and client engagement, satisfaction and retention are directly affected by how well you perform your duties.
Demonstrating Trident's values in every action and interaction, along with effectively and consistently completing the tasks listed below, is essential for you to be successful in this role. These tasks listed below provide a basic guide of your daily duties. However, this is a leadership role in the security industry and Trident. As such, the nature of this role requires planning, initiative, and flexibility.
Essential Duties/Tasks:
Oversee 24/7 security coverage for full time Security Specialists, Supervisors and Admin personnel
Responsibilities include overseeing and/or participating in interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
Train, coach, and mentor a team
Ensure proper protocol was taken and follow up on safety and security events, issues, staffing deficiencies and other management requests
Monitor and maintain timekeeping systems, records, and coordinate administrative scheduling
Develop and implement corporate security policies and procedures
Respond to medical emergencies and provide basic first aid, CPR, and AED as certified
Develop, implement, and train others on emergency response plans and procedures
Manage security incidents and investigations
Develop and deliver security training to employees
Develop and implement security metrics and reporting
Conduct interviews with job candidates for both employment and promotion opportunities
Perform personnel related investigations regarding potential policy/conduct violations. Recommend corrective action and performance improvement plans, up to and including termination of employment
Pre-plan staffing levels in line with existing contracts, expected sales and employee needs
Ensure all active posts (including temporary or ad-hoc jobs) are properly covered at all times
Includes ensuring call offs and suitable replacement coverage is found
May include standing down at posts where suitable coverage cannot be found
Plan workflow, schedules, and assignments of the Security Specialists across multiple locations
Oversee Supervisors to ensure they represent the brand and perform to TRIDENT's standards
Randomly inspect sites, post, and Security Specialists to ensure the quality and compliance in the following areas:
Security Specialist wellbeing, including health and safety
Compliance with Customer requirements
Compliance with TRIDENT requirements
Uniform quality and compliance
Post orders are always up to date and relevant.
Proactively participate in developing new business, including cold outreach and following up on incoming leads
Conduct regular existing client meetings to ensure and gauge customer satisfaction
Receive, document, address, and where necessary, escalate customer questions and concerns
Join and participate in industry associations relevant to Trident's target market
Receive, document, and escalate employee questions and concerns
Provide ongoing documented field training for Supervisors and other personnel
Oversee the effective implementation and management of all Trident programs such as the Officer Pin Program, Officer of the Quarter or any other program that may be introduced from time to time
Ensure every new officer is visited on site at least once in their first week of employment
Answer telephone calls, take messages, answer questions, and provide information as needed, referring and escalating issues to the appropriate resources as needed
Respond to and report all emergency situations
Regular and punctual attendance is required
All other duties, as assigned

Working Environment/Physical Quaifications
Prolonged hours working on a computer
You are required to drive between sites
You may be required to work at multiple locations across varying conditions
You may be required to work inside and outside, regardless of weather conditions
You will be sitting, standing and walking for long periods of time
You may be required to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
Reporting Structure
The Security Operations Manager reports directly to the Pacific Region Director of Operations in Cupertino, CA.
