Participate in final inspection and testing. Support customer acceptance. Assist with customer training on system operations. Complete and submit routine written reports. Identify code and non-conformance issues and make recommendations for system installationConduct Project Site Communication and Coordination: May support others in the scheduling of trade contractors to coordinate start-up services as neededYou will make an impact with these qualifications:Basic Qualifications:?3+ years' experience in the installation and/or maintenance of large-scale integrated Security SystemsUnderstanding of network components and workstation and server operating system management, IP addressing and subnetting, IP video network transmission and factors that impact video rates and quality. and basic switch, router, and firewall principlesBe able to work in a variety of environments in and around mechanical equipment, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high-lift equipment,working in ducts, above ceilings, and in outside/inside/heat/cold/day/night conditions; use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet; differentiate types/colors of wire, carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 poundsunassistedLegally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorshipMust be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations?Preferred Qualifications:?High school diploma or state-recognized GED; Associate degree in electronics or related field preferred5+ years' experience in the installation and/or maintenance of large-scale integrated security systemsMassachusetts Class D Electrical License Ability to read/understand design and construction documentsYou'llbenefitfrom:Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to our employees.
