You'd be joining a team of over 250, based across our New York, London and Manchester offices and working with over 750 arts organizations in North America and the UK.

The role As an integral member of the business development team, the Senior Account Executive will be accountable for supporting the team in growing our business in the US & Canada market by sourcing, qualifying, pitching to and closing new, large business opportunities. They will use their extensive product knowledge to determine how we can best serve any prospect we are speaking to, showcase Spektrix to the prospect and convince them of the value of working with us, provided they are a good fit. Reporting to the President of US & Canada, the Senior Account Executive will work closely with all other members of the business development team and also collaborate regularly across departments, particularly with the Marketing/Comms and Implementation Teams.

Key Accountabilities and ResponsibilitiesAccountabilities: Ensuring that high-impact, good fit, strategic prospect opportunities you lead are choosing Spektrix as their preferred Solution.Ensuring high quality demonstrations of the Spektrix platform to prospect organizations, as assigned.Ensuring your knowledge of the Spektrix system, integrations, partner products, implementation capability and best practice across the client base are consistently enhanced.Ensuring high quality and on-time coordination and submission of the RFPs on which you lead.Ensuring new clients, where involved, are handed over smoothly to implementation, setting them up for success in the long term.Ensuring all sales activity that you conduct (incl. prospect communications, insights, contact details and contractual arrangements) is diligently recorded in our prospect management database (HubSpot).This role may, at times, include line management of one or a small number of team-members.Key Responsibilities: Collaborating with other members of the team, where you're not leading a sales process, by demoing the system, writing RFP responses, joining meetings as required.Coaching other members of the team to help improve their process, especially as relating to the sales process (i.e. working to exec power, strengthening key relationships, negotiation skills, pulling deals forward).Sourcing and initiating prospect lead conversations to feed into pipeline (outbound calls, emails, external event prospect meetings).Support the Business Development and Product teams by consistently feeding back any product related gaps that arise in prospect conversations and demos.Support the Business Development team to maintain accurate sales collateral, liaising with Marketing & Communications, Implementation, CIT and other internal teams as required.Represent Spektrix at industry events as required, promoting Spektrix with prospects, clients and partners.Support the business in identifying risks to US/Canada growth by keeping abreast of and feeding back any industry trends, competitor and prospect intel.Maintenance of our internal CRM (Hubspot), including research and sourcing of updated or new data, as well as proper data entry and editing. Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseYou should have: Experience effectively influencing decision making, ability to navigate a range of situations and conversations.In depth knowledge of a complex system.Strong analytical skills.Strong problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Strong writing and proofreading skills.Strong organizational skills and be detail oriented.Background, experience or strong interest in the arts or cultural sector desired.
