Senior Account Manager, Captive Management (Cayman Islands) Aon Cayman is hiring an experienced Senior Accountant to join the growing team!
This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Camana Bay office.

What the day will look like Providing accounting services to a portfolio of captive insurance and reinsurance companies.Preparation of management financial statements and management reports.Supervising AMs, assistant accountants and administrators and providing a first review of their financial statements and work product.Coordinating financial statement audits.Preparing for and attending board meetings, presenting financial results and key information to executives.Preparing financial forecasts and budgets.Reviewing and authorizing payments.Analysis and recommendation on complex financial transactions.Willingness and ability to travel.Participating in ad-hoc projects as assigned.The position is responsible for supervision and training of AMs, assistant accountants and administrators. This is not a people leader/manager role.Skills and experience that will lead to success Professional accounting qualification e.g. CPA, CA, ACCA, or ACA is essential.Previous experience working in captive insurance or in audit is essential.Previous supervisory experience is desirable.Detailed knowledge of Excel, MS Word, and accounting applications.How we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
