In this role, you'll be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial information across the business, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the finance team with mentoring and training.
Key Responsibilities:Process credit card receipts and expense reimbursement claims.Calculate and post end of month provision and accrual journals.Prepare end-of-month and end-of-year reporting, including balance sheet reconciliations and lease accounting journals.Prepare financial reports for internal and external use.Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) returns.Maintain the asset register and manage additions/disposals.Evaluate and improve processes to maximise efficiency within the department.Stay up-to-date with compliance requirements (e.g., GST, FBT, and Australian Accounting Standards).About You:To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
