What you'll doAs the Senior Accountant, you have in-depth knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, proficiency in accounting systems, and strong motivation to contribute to the achievement of an accurate and efficient close process. You pay great attention to detail, deliver results under deadlines, and work effectively cross-functionally in a rapidly changing environment. Your areas of focus will be payroll and deferred costs. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager.
Responsibility Record month-end payroll and deferred contract cost accrualsWork with Payroll, Total Rewards, and HR to prepare journal entries (e.g., payroll, expat tax, 401(k) funding, benefits)Identify and resolve key issuesPerform reconciliations for all related general ledger accounts and investigate variancesPerform monthly and quarterly flux analysis over accrual and expense balancesProvide recommendations for streamlining or automating processesSupport internal and external audits and ensure compliance with internal controlsParticipate in payroll and other special projects and analyses as neededJob DesignationRemote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time. Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:
California: $94,000.00 - $136,600.00 base salary
Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $89,400.00 - $122,125.00 base salary
This role is also eligible for bonus and benefits.
