About the Company and Senior Accountant Opportunity: A leading manufacturing company located in the Suburbs, is looking to add a Staff Accountant to their expanding team.
The Staff Accountant will apply accounting principles to analyze financial information and assist in reporting for our multiple domestic and international locations. They offer excellent benefits which includes sign-on bonus, 401K match, healthcare, advancement opportunities, and work/life balance Overview of the Senior Accountant Role: Oversee International Subsidiary Reporting and communicate with subsidiary employees and external partners to resolve issues as they arise or are identified. Review and maintain the accuracy and integrity of our subsidiaries' general ledgers. Review and analyze key accounts for accuracy and provide explanations for period variances. Review our subsidiaries Financial Statements and assure they are GAAP compliant. Perform inventory reconciliation for subsidiaries and explain variances. Perform International Revenue, COGS and Margin Analysis. Prepare monthly Cashflow analysis and forecast. Translate the subsidiaries Financial Statements into U.S. Dollar and consolidate results. Maintain Fixed Assets in BNA software, including entering new assets and retiring assets. Reconcile Fixed Asset accounts for both capitalized and work in process and record depreciation to GL. Perform cycle PPE counts to maintain a high level of accuracy related to PPE. Analyze cost justification of capital additions. Develop, document, implement, and maintain an effective system of Internal Controls. Assist in US Operations reporting like sales analysis summary, semimonthly labor reporting, scrap, E&O, rebates and incentives as well as reclassifications, reconciliations and accruals for month end. Prepare schedules and journal entries required for month end close. Assist in statutory audits preparing PBC's, schedules and supporting documentation. Assist in performing the annual physical inventory. Assist in the preparation and maintenance of our Transfer Pricing policy. Coordinate subsidiary expense report approval and payment. Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accountant Role: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Minimum of 3 years accounting experience Knowledge of GAAP accounting methods Manufacturing industry experience a must Knowledge of PLEX or similar ERP software system #CBJAN2024#LI-SP2
