Description
OpenLoop is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team remotely or based out of HQ in Des Moines, IA. In this position, you will work closely with the Controller and other members of the Accounting team in all aspects of finance and accounting functions. This is a fast paced, dynamic, and fun environment.
About the Role Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Perform day to day accounting duties in AP, AR, cash management, payroll, FA, the GL and other duties as assigned Assist with monthly close process by posting monthly journal entries, performing account reconciliations and ad-hoc financial analysis Interface with external accountants during audits Assist in maintaining regular contact and building solid working relationships with various groups to ensure a high level of customer service and work product Assist on projects and ad hoc assignments as needed Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field Excellent knowledge of GAAP 4-6 years of progressive accounting/finance experience; ideally a public accounting/private industry mix CPA and/or MBA a plus Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (v-lookup, pivot tables, etc.) Must be trustworthy and confidential Must have excellent communication skills and ability to present to senior management Precision/detail oriented with strong analytical skills Proven ability to identify and drive process/system improvements Positive, energetic, optimistic attitude with a willingness to roll up your sleeves About OpenLoop OpenLoop was co-founded by CEO, Dr. Jon Lensing, and COO, Christian Williams, with the vision to bring healing anywhere.
