[Summary]
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our accounting team. In this role, you will focus on accurate financial reporting, compliance, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and well-versed in SSAP, with a strong background in financial accounting.

[Job Description] Key ResponsibilitiesConduct month-end and year-end closing processes, reconciling accounts and resolving discrepanciesPrepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with SSAPAnalyze financial data to identify trends and insights, providing recommendations to managementPrepare and organize NAIC filings to meet each state's regulatory requirementsPreparation of tax documentation and compliance with state and federal tax regulationsCollaborate with external auditors and support the audit process, providing necessary documentations, responses, and explanationsManage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed [Qualifications]Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field5+ years of accounting experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on financial reporting and analysisStrong knowledge of NAIC reporting, SSAP, and other financial reporting standardsProficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, or similar)Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsA Self-driven and proactive individual who takes ownership of their workCPA or other relevant certification is a plus[What's On Offer]Medical (PPO), dental (PPO), vision (PPO), and life insurance covered 100% by the companyAnnual bonus performance incentive programPaid time off and sick leave10 annual paid holidays401(k) plan with up to 4% company matchQuarterly Fringe Benefit reimbursementsJob-related training reimbursement
