Semi-Trailer Big Box, a Big Truck and Semi-Trailer dealership with branches in Grayson, Georgia and Dallas, Texas, is seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Part-Time Senior Accounting Manager. Desired hours are 9-2 M-F, with flexibility available. This position is located in our Grayson, GA office.
Position Summary: This is a high-level position to lead and execute all day-to-day accounting functions. You will support the CFO and coordinate activities with our administrative team.
Major Areas of Responsibility: Organize and execute day-to-day accounting functionsAccount reconciliations and cash flow managementOversight of all system input from Admin Team - A/R, A/P, InventoryDaily wire transfer managementMonthly financial statement preparationStandard business taxes such as sales tax, property tax, annual renewalsCommunicate with customers and vendors on escalated issuesReview and improve daily processes and tasks to expedite and improve workflowProvide training to new and existing staff as neededProvide special project assistance and miscellaneous duties as assigned by CFOSupport branch teamSkills and Qualifications: Proven, knowledgeable passion for accountingDetail-oriented and results-drivenExperience with QuickBooks requiredMicrosoft Office 365, Excel, and Word required5+ years of experience in Accounting, Business Administration, or OperationsSelf-starter who embraces learning & problem-solvingSmall-medium business experience in accountingDealership or transportation industry experience, inventory management is a plusFull Time Benefits: Small Business Office in Grayson, GA8 paid holidays per yearEarned paid time off programBenefits programIf you have an interest in this opportunity where you can really make a difference, we would love to hear from you.
