Senior Acquisition Specialist

Senior Acquisition Analyst Looking for a Senior Acquisition Analyst to join our team for a full-time position in the National Capital Region to support the Defense Health Agency.

A Day in the Life: Assist in drafting and developing Statements of Work (SOW), Statements of Objectives, Performance Work Statements and Performance-Based SOWs Communicate/Interact with Contracting Officer Representatives (COR) on a daily basis, and having knowledge of COR functions Monitor and process Procurement Requests Support the development of acquisition strategies and plans Assist developing Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs) Assist in preparing and drafting Market Research documentation Track contract expenditures and assist with Contract Closeout Assist in the preparation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Administrative Policies in acquisition support. Participate in reporting and analysis activities in support of project management and quarterly Review and Analysis. When I read the below it sounds like me: Bachelor's degree in a related field and minimum of 10 years of experience or 14 years of experience in lieu of degree Strong written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated success as a highly organized self-starter, with attention to detail, multitasking various priorities under deadline, and experience in a team environment. Demonstrated willingness to undertake new projects and ability to learn new systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Must be able to pass a government background check. Must be a US Citizen.
