Senior Actuary

KCC seeks a fulltime Actuary in our Boston office to partner with clients to leverage catastrophe model output in underwriting, ratemaking, and risk transfer initiatives. Your responsibilities will also include fostering relationships with insurance regulators and rating agencies. In this position, you will work with KCC's interdisciplinary Client Services, Model Development and Software Development teams.

For more information, please visit www.kcc.us.com Responsibilities Assist clients in effectively integrating catastrophe model output in ratemaking, underwriting and reinsurance purchase processesParticipate with KCC software development team in implementing insurance and reinsurance structures into financial modelingLead relationships with regulators, and oversee KCC responses to regulatory questions on catastrophe model output forms and in client rate filingsParticipate in consulting engagements and help analyze and prepare client data and results for senior executive reports and presentationsContribute actuarial expertise to KCC technical papers, presentations, and other documents Qualifications Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fieldACAS required, FCAS preferred5+ years in P&C actuarial roleExperience with data-intensive computer modelsProficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookExcellent writing, communication, and organizational skillsExperience with catastrophe models a plus
