Universal Orlando Resort believes in-person collaboration is key to our success. Many of our Team Members work in a hybrid capacity, contributing from the workplace a minimum of three days per week. There are also roles that require being on-site full time. Limited remote opportunities may be available within specific departments. You'll learn more about this during the recruitment process.
JOB SUMMARY:

Provides advanced administrative and computer support to Director and/or Assistant Director and their departments.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Initiate and follow-up on action items for new and/or routine projects, processes, and/or policies. Coordinates with other departments and/or external sources.
Generates department correspondence and/or reports. Uses appropriate computer programs to analyze, compile, update and maintain department correspondence and/or reports. Disseminates data/information to the appropriate parties. Prepares expense reports. May create presentations and/or corresponding materials.
Screens/prioritizes/directs incoming calls and mail/correspondence, taking appropriate actions as necessary.
May maintain executive(s)' and corresponding department's calendars, coordinate meetings, and/or set appointments. Makes travel and/or training arrangements when necessary.
Provides administrative support, direction, guidance, and/or training to department. Serves as a liaison with other departments in acquiring and maintaining technology, supplies, onboarding, work space coordination, sourcing and other logistical needs through standard UO/UPR procedures.
Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.

SCOPE:

COMPLEXITY OF WORK: Moderately routine; general policies applied. Some decision-making.
RELATIONSHIPS OUTSIDE WORK UNIT: Exchange of information which occasionally requires tact and/or diplomacy.

EDUCATION:

High school degree or GED is required.
Bachelor's degree is preferred

EXPERIENCE:

2 to 5 years of administrative assistant experience preferred
Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Proficiency in MS Word and Excel required.
Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Outlook preferred.
Familiarity with UO systems is a plus.
