The Boston Roche Innovation Center (BRIC) is a data/statistical science innovation unit at the intersection of statistics and artificial intelligence/machine learning focused on developing new methods and digital applications in support of drug development decision-making.
As a relatively new team, BRIC is seeking exceptional candidates that are interested in bringing expertise, enthusiasm, and an entrepreneurial spirit to help establish our culture of innovation and user-centered product development, and to drive us to success overall.
You will be an indispensable member of the BRIC team and work closely with the center leadership.
The Opportunity Serve as the internal and external face/liaison between the team and Genentech, acting appropriately and professionally.Lead the coordination and execution of department-wide staff meetings (e.g.
Town Halls, department meetings, etc), meeting logistics including agenda creation/distribution, meeting materials, catering, room set-up, etc.Proficient in all available tech meeting platforms including in room technology, video conferences, Google Meets, Zoom and global webcasts.
Schedule and support external candidate interviews.Send communications on behalf of someone (note: complexity depends upon the person requesting).
Manage communications for day-to-day team operations, including changes in policies, processes, department reminders (e.g.
handling of gifts, etc.
), team agreements.Possess a general knowledge of available Genentech IT systems such as cSuite, virtual conference tools, etc.
Submit facilities, IT, and Site Service requests.Facilitate new hire onboarding, executing the first 30 days checklist in addition to ensuring technology is available and functional for the new hire.Manage purchase orders, invoices, payment tracking and vendor maintenance.
Manage distribution lists, print services, office supply process and shipping/receiving.Who You Are You hold a High School Diploma.You have 3-5 years related administrative, operations or project support experience (experience gained in pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry is preferred).Behaviors, competencies, and qualities of the ideal Senior Administrative Business Partner Ability to handle routine and impromptu assignments with minimal supervision.Ability to handle and exercise judgment and discretion concerning sensitive, confidential and proprietary information.Must demonstrate outstanding office management and administrative capabilities with a proven record of meeting defined objectives and goals.Demonstrates accuracy and attention to detail of own and other's work.Outstanding time management, organizational, and project management skills, as evidenced through past performance, track record and results.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Communicates clearly, concisely, thoroughly and in a timely manner with internal and external partners/stakeholders.The candidate must be a motivated individual who can demonstrate a proactive approach and an ability to streamline and reduce unnecessary administrative or operational burdens for the team.The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Boston, MA is 68,200.00 - 126,600.00 USD Annual.
Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
