TreliantLLC is seeking a SeniorAdvisor - Business Developer to join its growing team in Washington, DC andNew York, NY.
The Senior Advisor - Business Developer is responsible for management and support of the company's sales, and business developmentactivities.
They will work closely with Treliant leaders to grow, manage andenhance new and existing client relationships.
The ideal candidate will provideresponsive, collaborative and effective sales and client support, deliveringsales support, regular reporting and insightful analysis on the company'sbusiness development pipeline.
The Senior Advisor - Business Developer works closelywith Treliant executives and client delivery teams to develop sales strategies,client briefing documents and related support that is critical to growing thecompany's sales pipeline.
The ideal candidate is results-driven, motivated,creative, insightful and a collegial business partner who enjoys clientinteraction.
The candidate will have strong written and verbal communicationskills, presentation skills, the ability to prioritize and react quickly tobusiness opportunities - all with an attention to detail and a strong focus onthe client.
Responsibilities:
Identify, qualify and win executable business by applyingexpertise across the business development life cycle, from opportunityidentification through shaping and capture to proposal and contract start-up.
Drive market-based competitive intelligence, marketassessments, client assessments, and strategic planning efforts in support ofexpanding current and future markets.
Partnerwith senior leadership in the creation and delivery of proposals /presentations for new and existing clients.
Team with Treliant leadership in sales presentations and conductface-to-face meetings with potential prospects and existing clients.
Negotiate and participate in pricing strategy to make Treliantcompetitive.
Review andprepare compelling client RFPs which will differentiate Treliant, having qualified and carefully researched the opportunity and its potential.
Work with local office service line leaders to maximizecross-selling opportunities.
In partnership with Marketing, execute events and otheroutreach campaigns in order to identify and engage targets; building Treliantbrand in the marketplace.
Manage key stakeholder relationships; keeping businessleadership informed, and engage in advancing acquisition best practices.
Implement the use of best practicesales methodologies, tools and approaches.
Utilize the company's ClientRelationship Management (CRM) system, continuously finding ways to leverage itscapabilities to support sales and business development efforts.
Qualifications: Minimumof ten years of business development experience with professional service firms (mid-tier, boutique, or Big 4).
Previous financial service consulting experience is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business,Economics, Accounting witha Master's degree as a plus.
Proven business development trackrecord; meeting both revenue targets and pipeline generation goals.
Businessdevelopment experience through the entire cycle through contract award.
Experience with corporate-level CRMsystems, and other related databases.
Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills.
Ability to present and convey information that influencesothers and drives action.
Creative problem-solving ability and acollaborative, consultancy mindset.
Willingnessto travel a minimum of 50%.
