Senior Ai Research Engineer

COMPANY NAME:AlphaSense, Inc.LOCATION:24 Union Square East, 5th Floor, New York, NY 10003POSITION TITLE:Senior AI Research EngineerSUMMARY OF DUTIES:Develop highly scalable machine learning based models such as Large Language Models and take them all the way to production. Perform cutting edge research in deep learning, machine learning, natural language processing algorithms to solve business problems. Quantitatively evaluate the quality of developed AI models, and iterate to meet accuracy and speed requirements. Work closely with Product Management to translate product requirements into machine learning architectures. Own all the stages of search quality from design, code, train, test, deployment and iteration. Provide expert options to managers and help define technical roadmap of AI R&D. Duties may be performed remotely.REQUIREMENTS:Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Management Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field, and one (1) year of experience as an AI Research Engineer, Software Engineer, Applied AI/ML Associate, or related role. Employer will also accept Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Management Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field, and three (3) years of experience as an AI Research Engineer, Software Engineer, Applied AI/ML Associate, or related role. One (1) year of experience with: Deep learning and natural language processing research; Python; Deep learning frameworks, including PyTorch and TensorFlow; Libraries, including Spacy and HuggingFace; and Domains, such as classification, search, recommendation, or summarization. Six (6) months of experience with: Working with large language models; Releasing AI models into products; and Working with cross-functional teams, including product management.Salary: $210,000 per year to $232,000 per year
