RWE Clean Energy, LLC To start as soon as possible, full time, permanent Functional area: Finance / Controlling
Remuneration: Exempt We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Group & Financial Reporting to join our growing and dynamic Group Reporting & Financial Reporting team. You will support review and issuance of external unaudited and audited stand alone financial statements as well as submission of financial information for the corporate group reporting. Responsibilities: Issuance of financial reports, including annual audited and monthly/quarterly unaudited financial statements under US GAAP to external investors as well as supporting internal segment group reporting deliverables under IFRS Prepare footnotes for the annual audited financial statementsEnsure proper accounting and financial statement presentation for debt and equity instruments, commodity and financial derivatives, and leasesCoordinate audit support and external auditors' inquiries related to financial statements' audits and group reporting package reviewSupport local and group accounting with ad-hoc internal and external requests related to financial information, business/Merger & Acquisitions support Support implementation of new USGAAP and IFRS accounting standards and stay updated on changes in US GAAP and related regulations, and proactively implement improvements to accounting practices and financial reporting processes to enhance accuracy and efficiencyMaintain a high quality, deliverable-focused culture within the team Qualifications: Bachelors or higher degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field requiredMinimum 5 years' of accounting experience requiredCPA preferredLarge corporate environment experience preferredExperience with the preparation of annual audited financial statements with footnotesAbility to work within tight deadlinesExperience with the preparation of annual audited financial statements with footnotesProven ability to empathize, build relationships, and effectively communicate with people from a diverse set of backgroundsWind energy project development, power industry, and/or real estate partnership experience helpfulProficient knowledge in Microsoft Office products - Excel requiredProficient knowledge in the use of ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle helpfulTax equity experience helpful Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
