Senior Api Engineer - U.S. Based Remote

Job Summary:The Anywhere Real Estate Core Capabilities API Engineering team develops reusable, enterprise capability APIs which are leveraged by both internal & external product development teams use to rapidly build and release real estate software!We are looking for a Senior Engineer with proven experience in developing cloud-native API applications using Node.js, MongoDB and AWS. Ideal candidate will also have hands-on experience in implementing IaC and CI/CD solutions and demonstrate solid understanding of security, networking and scaling concepts.This is a senior code-contributing role that requires excellent collaboration, communication, and user documentation skills. The successful candidate will be a high-energy individual who can develop peer relationships that build on positive and open interaction.What You'll Do:Design, implement and support flexible, scalable, and resilient software solutions.Analyze, design, and prove viability of solutions while efficiently driving towards completion.Perform code reviews and contribute to team coding style and standards.Leverage an automation first approach for product delivery and operational support.Work with our Product Teams to build solutions to complex challenges that power our apps.Provide clear communications to all team members, collaborators, and enterprise partners.Be an agent of change and adopt new technologies in support of constantly evolving business goals.What You'll Need to Succeed:7+ years of experience as a code-contributing member of an Agile Development Team.5+ years as a Node.js developer building microservices and RESTful services.3+ years in developing cloud-native applications using AWS Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, SQS, Kafka etc.3+ years in developing in using MongoDB Atlas.2+ years in scripting CI/CD pipelines and DevOps.1+ years in either of AWS CloudFormation/ AWS CDK/ Terraform.Solid understanding of networking and security concepts like DNS, Load Balancers, Firewalls, Encryption, etc.Strong communication skills (written & verbal).Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent experience.#LI-LG1#LI-Remote#Dice#AnywhereEngineersExciting News:EEO Statement:EOE AA M/F/Vet/DisabilityCompensation Range:The base salary for this position is $130,000 to $160,000.
