Application Engineers work on a broad variety of applied engineering (Computer Aided Engineering – CAE) projects aligned to the needs of our software customers. This work involves using one or more software products to help solve customer's real-world problems or facilitate efficiency in the use of the software by our customers. The business objective for presales is to team up with the Account Managers and get the technical wins that lead to business wins, ensuring new business for Hexagon while assisting customers with their product development.
As a Senior Application Engineer, you will be provided training on the D&E Software portfolio, software demos, and customer evaluations or benchmarks. You will also receive basic Sales training for customer-facing engagements and have regular check-ins with your engineering manager to ensure timely responses to questions/issues and steady growth within the Hexagon organization.
