\n Why This Role Is ImportantThe Firm is seeking a mid-level professional to join the Research team. This person will be an integral part of the team and responsible for analytical and research to support both the Real Estate and Infrastructure Teams, contributing to the the real asset investment decision-making process. ResponsibilitiesAcquire, create and analyze fundamental information including "white papers" semi-annually to reflect evolving business, investment and capital market trends by sector.Analyze economic, demographic and social trends, nationally and by market, to determine present and future impact on Harrison Street's investments.Fulfill research requests from external / internal clients and investor requests to aid in investment strategy, market risk assessment and portfolio strategy.Author creative thought leadership papers – as many as 6 pieces per year.Author or assist in quarterly research reports that focus on sectors including, but not limited to, existing Harrison Street sector exposures by providing current performance data and the Harrison Street investment/sector outlook for the category. Individual sector research reports will be sent to current and prospective investors and other external Harrison Street constituencies.Contribute to the firm-wide Outlook Catalog that is produced annuallyDraft and refresh the PPMs for various Real Estate and Infrastructure Funds on a semi-annual basis as well as update and refresh LP presentations for new investors interested in Harrison Street's Real Assets platform. Explore potential new investment strategies for Harrison Street as part of its existing Funds or as co-investments with other investors. Provide an overview and rationale for each prospective category. RequirementsBachelor's degree or relevant experience 3-5 years of experience in real assets, market research or similar fieldsFluency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerpointStrong communication skills: both written and verbal.
