Senior Auditor – Regulatory Compliance Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a Senior Auditor – Regulatory Compliance for a direct hire opportunity with a financial services client.

Responsibilities: Manage plan, scope, execution, and reporting of regulatory compliance audits based on identified risks. Partner with management regarding audit scope, status, and findings. Ability to manage time and staffing budgets for assigned audits. Prepare work papers that accurately document work performed and support conclusions. Ensure audit issues are well-defined, root causes are identified, and recommendations for improved controls and processes are communicated to management. Ability to understand and identify the full range of risks related to processes, regulatory compliance, organization, policy, and technology. Evaluate control design adequacy in complex business processes, perform control testing, and document work performed in conformance with internal audit methodology. Share ideas and opinions on the adequacy and effectiveness of the system of control. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree (4-Year Accredited College). 3 – 7 Years related auditing experience. Relevant financial services industry knowledge. Strong knowledge of Regulatory Compliance & Operations. Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize assignments, and to meet critical deadlines. Thorough understanding of Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Standards. Certification preferred ( CRCM, CIA, CPA, CAMS, or other relevant professional designations).
