Our company is seeking a full-time Senior Automation Specialist to manage and enhance the automated workflows at HPS. This role involves building and maintaining RPA processes, integrating external financial systems via API, and ensuring seamless data flows from customer EMRs into our HPS Portal. The HPS Portal serves as a central work queue, reporting system, and communication tool for both internal teams and customers.
The Senior Automation Specialist will work closely with the Portal Application Specialist to develop new features, enhance reporting capabilities, and continuously improve the Portal's functionality, making it a more in-depth system for internal and external use.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience in a related field.3-5 years of hands-on experience in automation, specifically with RPA tools, Excel, and VBA, demonstrating the ability to independently manage complex workflows.Proven ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems and processes efficiently.Advanced proficiency in Excel and VBA programming for building and maintaining data processing tasks and automations.Strong proficiency in SQL for data processing tasks.Experience in debugging and troubleshooting RPA processes and technical issues.Strong multi-tasking, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members, with strong communication skills.Manage automated workflows: Oversee the successful execution of RPA workflows and ensure completion across internal systems.Build and maintain RPA processes: Design, develop, and test new RPA processes, while maintaining and optimizing existing automations.Integrate external systems via API: Work on connecting external systems to the HPS Portal, ensuring accurate data flow.Collaborate with teams: Partner with the Portal Application Specialist and other internal teams to build solutions that enhance the HPS Portal's functionality.Troubleshoot and resolve issues: Rapidly respond to break/fix requests through the IT ticketing system and investigate daily issues with workflows, automations, or integrations.Document processes: Effectively document all troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and system changes in the IT ticketing system.Data management: Oversee the import and update of billing information into the HPS Portal, ensuring data accuracy.Develop data processing tasks: Build new data processing automations using Excel, VBA, SQL, and other tools.Engage clients and internal teams: Provide technical support and maintain a calm, helpful attitude when engaging with both HPS employees and clients.Stay current with technologies: Learn and adapt to new software, tools, and automation technologies as required.Technical documentation: Assist with writing and maintaining technical documentation for new and existing automation processes.Position Details Fully Remote Position | M-F 8:30AM-5PM CSTCompany provided high performance workstation, ultra-wide monitor and accessoriesPaid Time Off (PTO; starts accruing day one and is available for use following probationary period of 60 days)Eleven paid holidays off per calendar yearCompany paid medical and life insurance policy for employee upon eligibilityDental, vision, and dependent medical coverage offered to employee, at cost upon eligibilityRetirement plan with company match available immediately upon hireWhy Healthcare Provider Solutions?
