Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Displays complete understanding of AV systemsProvides AV sales support to sales teams, SEs, and LBUsDisplays working knowledge of ADA requirementsProvides clients direction and recommendations for ADA requirementsDisplays working knowledge of AVIXA design standardsWorks with clients to design AV solutions: Produces Bill of Materials (BOM), Produces Statement of Work (SOW), Produces sketches of designed solutionProvides design documentation to AV estimators for pricing and proposal creationReviews proposal when completed by estimator to ensure completeness and accuracyPerforms design reviews with AV engineering teamAttends AV opportunity bid reviewsProvides remote support for onsite installation techniciansWorks with CAD team to ensure accuracy of project drawingsWorks with WTS project managers to ensure equipment order requests are accurate prior to ordering equipmentWorks with stage and config specialists to ensure completeness and accuracy of pre-installation processesWorks with AV programmers to ensure AV control and audio programming meets client requirements and follows SOWSupports AV Field Engineers during commissioningResponsible for project technical success from initial project discussions to commissioning and client trainingProvides level 3 AV helpdesk supportTrains and develops stage and config specialistsSupports all AV teammates as subject matter expertAttends AV tradeshows as Subject Matter Expert ( SME) Qualifications and Experience:High school diploma or equivalentCollege education or degree preferredDemonstrates proficient use of Microsoft Office applicationsCTS-D required Eight (8) years experience designing and engineering commercial AV systemsEight (8) years experience installing, troubleshooting, and commissioning audio-visual equipmentStrong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)Strong leadership skillsCertifications in industry-relevant technologies such as Crestron, Biamp, and Extron Working Conditions & Physical DemandsAbility to lift 50lbsAbility to climb laddersAbility to travel 25%Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and direction
