About the Role As a Senior Backend Engineer (Ruby), you'll leverage your deep experience in backend development to design, implement, maintain, and scale critical systems using Ruby and Ruby on Rails. You will be collaborating with cross-functional global teams to build solutions that are robust, efficient, and impactful.
\n ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain backend systems and services using Ruby and Ruby on Rails.Design and implement APIs to support seamless integrations with frontend applications.Optimize applications for high performance and scalability.Conduct code reviews and automate testing to ensure code quality.Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues.Collaborate with teams to devise solutions that align with the overall technical roadmap.Participate in architectural design discussions and contribute to decision-making processes. Qualifications & Skills8+ years of backend development experience with a strong focus on Ruby.Deep experience with Ruby on Rails and relational database management systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).Excellent understanding of object-oriented principles and design patterns.Strong experience with Linux environments (Ubuntu, Fedora).Effective problem-solving skills and adaptability in remote-friendly teams.Strong written and verbal communication skills for seamless collaboration. Nice to HaveFrontend development expertise to contribute to full-stack collaboration.Familiarity with additional Ruby frameworks (e.g., Sinatra).Experience designing scalable software architecture.
