Senior Backend Engineer - Sports Betting

ABOUT THE ROLE Join our team as a Senior Software Engineer and play a crucial role in driving our organization's growth through the development of outstanding products. We're seeking a dynamic individual who can deliver state-of-the-art code while prioritizing performance and scalability. As a key member of our team, you'll collaborate effectively while also demonstrating initiative and a passion for sharing innovative ideas.
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR: Work with state-of-the-art technology stack and deliver features in our microservice ecosystem.Build, maintain, develop, test, deploy and enhance our products and features.Identify obstacles to ensure quality and improve our user experience and how we build our products.Work with product managers, architects, QA engineers and other developers in a highly collaborative agile environment.Build for scale, availability, performance and security across the stack.OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING: ESSENTIAL SKILLS 5+ years of software development experience, preferably in an agile environment.Hands-on experience developing highly scalable RESTful Microservices.Experience with Java frameworks or toolkits such as Spring Boot, Vert.x, Netty, Micrometer or Quarkus.Knowledge of both NoSQL databases, caching and messaging systems.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating technical decisions and offering valuable recommendations to the team.NICE TO HAVES Online gaming, gambling or sports betting experience.
